hi Clare, yes medication is effective for Asymmetric Motor and sensory-attentive, less so for affective/anxious group. The different groups are triggered by different components of the testing and this changes when ON or OFF. The article attached Ehgoetz Martens goes in to more detail here.

Regarding the box shuffle, I can’t show you a video as we are in lockdown currently but here is a description from one of the original authors of the test. Hi Marvin,

Please make sure you have reviewed the level 1 recap video provided in Level 2, and keep both of your workbooks handy. The material is only available to view online for a short period.

In laymans terms, cardiovascular output is increase in heart rate and what we typically measure when referring to intensity. Motor output is your cortical drive to the periphery, so how much effort is required to complete a functional task. In Parkinson’s, typically the scale and effort is dampened. Functional movement can be achieved but greater levels of ‘effort’ and motor output are required. Point of this question is to highlight there is 1) a difference and 2) what that difference is.

Hi Anna, we’ve explored this research and approach in Brainfit but not necessarily in PD Warrior. Given we add the dual tasking and some cognitive elements to the circuit we loosely cover this but if you had a client with significant cognitive decline you might structure your 1:1 sessions a little differently to incorporate this.

Good to know Ailien. It is true that people can be fit and a freezer but it is more unusual. Hope the module helps to improve outcomes? Noted on the audio. I did mute the audio on the videos but not intentionally on the metronome. Will have to fix that. Ta
