    The assessment module explained what a standard PD assessment should look like and should include the following: an understanding of the client’s main functional problems and goals, motor and non-motor symptoms, relevant medical history, level of understanding of role of exercise in disease, readiness for therapy, and then a targeted treatment plan can be developed and commenced.

    There are 7 core principles (specificity, high effort, frequency, powerful, complex, meaningful, and fun, which all contribute to slow, halt or reverse the progression of IPD, through their roles in neuroplasticity, neuroprotection and neurorestoration.

    It is important to use this 7 core principle framework to assist IPD patients with motor patterns and skill acquisition to achieve their smart goals whilst making exercise and learning fun and enjoyable.

    PD Warrior is program that promotes behavioural change following the diagnosis of Parkinson’s Disease. It promotes neuro-active exercise in the early stages of Parkinson’s that contributes towards neuroplasticity changes.
