Thanks so much for coming on board and helping us up to train more health professionals. You will be pleased to know that running this course is really good fun and relatively easy – all the theory has already been delivered so you only need to recap on their learning, highlight the key components and then get stuck into the practical and fun stuff.
It is a good idea to look through the ‘Online Instructor Course’ content when you get the chance. That will give you a good idea of what the course participants will have just completed.
The should run against the following plan. It is a busy day for you so use your nominated ‘helpers’ to coordinate volunteers, room set up, equipment and chairs where possible.

- 8.30am – Room set up and registration
- 9am – Introduction
- 10am – Core exercises
- 11am – Morning Tea
- 12pm – Demo Assessment
- 1pm Lunch
- 1.30pm – Practical Assessment
- 2.30pm – Circuit
- 3.30pm – Wrap circuit and finalise patient HEP
- 4pm – Debrief
- 4.30pm – Close
The following video will go through the first bit of the practical course and exactly what you need to deliver and when. It is all fairly self-explanatory, but don’t hesitate to drop me a line if you have any questions.
You will also find the following attachments to flick through in preparation. Make sure to ‘Mark complete’ after opening each document so you can move to the next lesson.
