Jacobs’ FoG article talks about how anticipatory postural adjustments in PD and controls do not differ in amplitude or latency. The problem is said to be that the APA does not match the gait pattern well. It is true that PD patients do have multiple APAs. However, Schoneburg’s article says that “Early, untreated PD shows smaller APA and longer latency before stepping foot leaves the ground.”

Any solution to this contradiction between authors?
